Hashtags are basically the Superhero of Instagram.
Their super power? The ability to instantly connect people.
The power of the hashtag has allowed me to make new friends, work with some amazing brands and grow this blog into a business. Perhaps it’s done the same for you too?
Searching through hashtags are also great source of inspiration, particularly when it comes to fashion and interiors. However there are so many people sharing their homes and their style on Instagram, it can be hard to find a hashtag that’s right for you #thestruggleisreal
But struggle no more, because today I’m sharing the 10 fashion and interiors Instagram hashtags you need to know.
They’re all Australian based.
They’re all very open and honest about their interactions with brands. If they’re wearing or displaying items that were sent to them they will always use the hashtag #gifted If they are paid to feature items on their Instagram account, they will always use the hashtag #sponsored.
Their Instagram accounts and blogs serve a purpose. They are here to help, guide, encourage and inspire you.
Join their Instagram communities and you’ll be instantly connected with amazing women just like your good self. I promise.

Yes, that’s me. I’ve finally joined in on the hashtag action!
Today is the official launch of my very own hashtag #sharedmystyle
Whatever your style, whatever you’re wearing, whatever you’re doing, I would love you to share it with me.
If you’re not quite ready to get in front of the camera yet, that’s ok. I completely understand. It wasn’t that long ago that I dreaded being in front of the camera too.
I’ll help you overcome that fear in the weeks ahead. In the meantime here are some other ways you can join in and proudly say, “I #sharedmystyle today!”
- a flat lay photo of your outfit
- a photo of the shoes you wore
- a photo of the accessories you wore
- a photo of your handbag – you know how much I love a good handbag!
- a selfie – it’s a start. A very good start.
- a photo of something that tells us about you
I’ve got lots of fun things planned for the #sharedmystyle hashtag. Will you be joining in?
