So about a year ago I blogged this recipe for Chocolate Chip Loaf. Last week I decided to tweak the recipe a bit and turn it into a Chocolate Chip Cake. And let me tell you readers, it was delicious. Especially when served warm with a dollop of thick cream.
[yumprint-recipe id=’8′]It’s a very dense chocolate chip cake and even though it will rise, the top will be lovely and flat when it comes out of the oven. It would make a fabulous looking birthday cake with a wide ribbon tied around it and tall candles on the top of it. But be warned, it tastes so good your guests will probably want the recipe AND a slice to take home, so there will be very little left over!
