Sophie has been asking me all term if she can start writing blog posts for me (you might recall she wrote this recipe for Vanilla Cupcakes a while ago) and now that the holidays are here, I’ve finally relented and said yes.
She wrote the following post on her own and the first line had me in stitches as soon as I read it. What’s that saying? The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree? I think it’s safe to say we’ve got that one sorted….
I don’t know about you, but I’m a very busy person.
I have to feed my guinea pigs, play teachers AND go outside. I don’t have much spare time on my hands, but now, the holidays are here!
So I will be writing some blog posts again ๐ Today I’m going to be showing you some Christmas Activities For Kids.
Christmas Activities For Kids
1. Help your parents put up the Christmas tree
Your parents will really appreciate you helping out. (This is good because then they might let you have desert.)
2. Bake and decorate cookies
This is always fun, because sometimes you get to lick the bowl!
3. Make ornaments
4. Visit Santa Claus at the shops
This is the perfect time for you to give Santa some ideas of things you would like for Christmas.
5. Make a gingerbread house
This is fun because you can be as creative as you wish when you design it.
6. Draw pictures for santa
Even if you are a bad drawer, Santa will still appreciate your effort, which always makes me feel really happy! ๐
7. Look at all of the Christmas lights
I think that this is a lot of fun because you get to see all of the bright and beautiful colours on all of the houses!
8. Watch a favourite christmas movie
We always watch the Polar Express on… the night before Christmas.
9. The last thing you could do is leave cookies and milk out for Santa
I can never believe how much food Santa eats in one night. So don’t give him much.
Those are all of my activities that I love to do. Do you have any activities that you love to do during Christmas time? If so tell me, and I might do some of them!
