Up until recently I would wash my fine, curly hair every day. The curls don’t usually survive too well overnight, so a daily re-style is required.

However while we were away in Hawaii, holiday mode kicked in. I couldn’t be bothered washing my hair every morning.
I tried a pony tail, but it looked like someone had stuck a pom-pom on the back of my head.
I thought about a plait or a side braid, but I wanted something quick and easy.

Get your hair tie out and your bobby pins ready. We are about to get a curly hair side bun happening.
I don’t have a whole lot of hair to work with. It’s fine and it’s quite short, but that’s ok, we can make it work.
I’ve only tied the hair band around my hair twice. If it’s too tight, it will pull my hair and the volume with disappear.
If your hair is thicker, you might need to tighten things up a bit.
Because my hair is so fine, I only need two bobby pins to keep it in place. You might need more.
I loosely bunch the hair that’s tied up and hold it close to my head.
Then I slip one bobby pin in at the top and one in at the bottom.
Quick and easy, right?
