So how was Easter at our place this year? Do anything exciting? Following on from last week’s post, here’s what we got up over the long weekend….
Good Friday
Soph and I kicked things off with a little bit of pampering, thanks to The Body Shop At Home. Click here for all the details:
We headed over to Couran Cove to visit my folks who were staying there. Because it was Easter, they had all sorts of fun activities happening, including water aerobics. I know you will be shocked when I tell you that I chose to sit that activity out…
Came home and followed a lovely reader’s advice left in the comments section of this post to unwrap a chocolate egg and place it under the bunny’s tail. Because I am extremely juvenile a joiner, I did as I was told…
Embraced the soft pant craze, as encouraged by Mrs Woog and Styling You.
For those not in the know, The Soft Pant Craze is kind of like the Fun Loom Craze, but a little bit more stylish and a lot more comfortable. I purchased my soft pants from Portmans a while ago. They’re no longer available in store, but you might be able to find a pair at one of their outlet stores.
Because it was Easter and I was a bit sick of chocolate, I decided to make a salad….
And because every good salad needs a delicious dessert, I whipped up some fudge brownies and threw a few Easter Eggs on top for good luck…
I used a brownie recipe from this month’s Taste magazine and can confirm they are the most delicious brownies I’ve ever made/eaten…
Easter Sunday
On Easter Sunday we headed to the in-laws place for an Easter Egg hunt…
And made a sneaky trip to the beach on the way home….
Easter Monday
On Easter Monday I went in hard with the themed accessories….
And yesterday, the Easter break finished with a lovely surprise in the mail. A gorgeous set of cupcake toppers from Bespoke Occasions, which I was lucky enough to win in their recent Instagram competition…
What did you get up to over the Easter break? Anything exciting? Maybe you purchased a pair of soft pants? Or, like me, ate your body weight in chocolate? Feel free to tell me everything…
