Ever played the game Guess Who? Just quietly, I love it. It’s much shorter than any other board game out there and doesn’t involve counting anything, so that’s a win! Also, if you’re a bit bored, you can come up with all sorts of stupid questions to ask your opponent, instead of the usual, “Does you person have a beard?” And then, if you’re a blogger, you can share those questions with your readers!
So here we go with this week’s Friday Five: Guess Who Edition.
My opponent earlier this week. Please note the easel set up in the background, used solely for score keeping. We take Guess Who very seriously around these parts!
Guess Who Question #1:
Does your person look like a really pissed off version of that old bloke who used to be on the tv show 3rd Rock From The Sun?
Guess Who Question #2:
Does your person totally look like she’s trapped in the 80’s? Also, does your opponent look like she could do with a quick manicure before your next round of Guess Who starts?
Guess Who Question #3:
Does your person look like he’s got a headache? (Probably from little…and big…hands slamming the yellow place card holder thingies down just a little too hard on a fairly regular basis) Alternatively, does your person look like he’s thinking how cruel it is to have so much hair on his face and none on his actual head?
Guess Who Question #4:
Does your person look like he might be a little bit freaked out by the fact that Rachael is definitely giving him the once over with those big brown- red eyes of hers?
Also, look how bored old mate behind stalker Rachael looks. He is clearly over it. And what about the blonde bloke beside him? Is it just me, or does he look like he sat on something very sharp roughly 30 seconds before I took that photo?!
Guess Who Question #5:
Does your person look like he needs a fairly big jab of botox due to very enthusiastic card sorting by small hands?
OR…does your person look like he’s a cross between Ice Man from Top Gun (thanks to his superior flat top hair cut) and one of those new breed of hipsters that are popping up everywhere? (thanks to his equally superior moustache.) No doubt he’s torn between having a few rounds of beers with Goose and Maverick at the pub or drinking a soy latte out of a glass jar at the local paleo cafe!
