Today I’m sharing with you my entry for the Gourmet Garden Blog Off/Cook Off. It’s baked chicken meatballs and it’s delicious! Here’s how you can make yours at home too.
Chicken Meatball Ingredients:
- Place ingredients in a large bowl
- Mix together and roll into balls
- Cook the meatballs in a frypan until they’re golden brown before transferring them to a baking dish
Sauce Ingredients:
How to make the sauce
1. Throw your onion in the pan and add a good dollop of the Chunky Garlic
2. Fry it off and then add your tin of tomato puree….
3. If you like things spicy, add a dollop of Gourmet Garden’s Hot Chilli. Or not. Totally up to you.
4. Whack in your rinsed lentils and bring the sauce to the boil.
5. Pour the lentil and sauce mix over the browned meatballs, cover with alfoil and bake in a 200 deg C oven for 30 minutes.
Once the chicken meatballs are cooked, serve in a bowl with the bruschetta in the middle of the table for everyone to help themselves to. YUM!
This is one of my entries for the Gourmet Garden Blog Off/Cook Off competition. Thank you to Gourmet Garden for sending me the herbs to cook with.
