Not sure how to organise things when you’re bored? This post will help you!
I don’t know about you, but I have a child at home sick with some sort of bug and I’m clocking up some significant Nurse Maude hours in the process.
Yesterday was spent disinfecting the house to get rid of the germs that are wafting through our house, which let me tell you, is nowhere near as fun as it sounds!
Today isn’t much better, with the patient looking like Casper the Friendly Ghost (google it if you’re under 35) which means we’ve officially entered Day 2 of his Germ Watch and my House Arrest.
He’s stoked as it means a whole day of lying in bed playing Mine Craft while waiting for food to be brought to him on a tray.
I, on the other hand, am BORED OUT OF MY EFFING MIND. So bored in fact, that today I’ve been doing what could only be described as a lot of organising, complete with Before and After shots, because if I’m bored, you should be too!
My desk drawer before:
and after!
Now if that doesn’t lower your heart rate just by looking at it, I don’t know what will!
But I haven’t just been organising things. I’ve also got stuck into some serious labelling. Look, here’s a visual:
The Sticky Tape label disturbs me no end. Because there’s a glue stick in that draw too, but I adhere to a strict ‘One Label Per Draw’ rule and so I was torn between printing a ‘sticky tape’ or a ‘glue’ label. Really, I was. Upon looking at that photo, I think I’m going to have to remove the glue stick immediately. Big Issues people, we’re all about the Big Issues.
Which brings me to my next discovery. Printers that print onto CD’s. Um, hello labelling heaven. It’s so nice to meet you. Since I bought myself a new printer on Monday, I’ve been churning out the labelled CD’s like there’s no tomorrow and I’m a bit excited at how professional they look!
How do you organise things when you’re bored? Got any ideas what I can do about the sticky tape label situation?
