Tomorrow I’m heading to the Gold Coast for Problogger 2014 or #PBEVENT for the social media addicts amongst us. The event is kicking off for me with a fancy pants lunch at Versace, hosted by Chantelle from the blog Fat Mum Slim and Olympus. If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you’ll know I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of the Olympus My Family Lens Challenge over the past 3 months, so to have the opportunity to learn more about the camera while hanging out with 23 other bloggers from around Australia is just a little bit exciting!
Tomorrow night I’m heading to a Annie Sloan Chalk Paint workshop, which is being held on the pool deck of the QT, so that’s something to look forward to.
The Problogger conference kicks off on Friday, with an Ahoy themed cocktail party happening on Friday night, which will be followed by a hangover more conference action on the Saturday.
You’ll be pleased to know that I’ve packed ALL of the essentials, necessary for a successful Problogger Conference:
And have the note taking situation well and truly taken care of:
The only thing left to do now is decide what to wear for the Ahoy themed cocktail party. I’ve got two options…a black dress with an anchor necklace & red earrings (more of a nod to the theme than an actual themed outfit) or a striped tshirt with a navy jacket and dark pants arrangement (definitely looks ‘Ahoy-ish’ but am worried this might be too casual?) What are your thoughts on this very important matter? Should I go black cocktail dress or pants and jacket? I’d offer to take photos of both outfits to give you a visual, but they’re all neatly nestled in the suitcase, in between the booze and my vast quantities of makeup, so that idea is out!
Are you going to Problogger? What are you wearing to the cocktail party? Should I wear a dress or pants? These are Big Issues people! Big Issues!
