On Making Instagram Friends

Yesterday I went to lunch with strangers I met on  Instagram and despite the joking concerns of my family, I didn’t end up blindfolded in the boot of some randoms car!  

In fact, I had a great time, laughed A LOT and even made some new friends.  Which, let me tell you, can be a tricky thing to do as you get older.

• Megan, who is a very talented florist and generously supplied a gorgeous bouquet of flowers at my recent birthday celebrations

• Michele, who quite likes gun shows 
• Lauren, who had a gorgeous baby girl 8 weeks ago and didn’t look remotely sleep deprived

• Joydee who had me in fits of laughter with her hilarious stories, which reminded me I really need to read her blog more often
• Hayley who lives in a beautiful home and has an incredible knack for interior decorating
• Sharon who is renovating a gorgeous home and is a new mum to one very cute baby girl.
