This time last week I was at Problogger 2016. It was a fabulous couple of days filled with inspiration, learning and laughs. So many laughs – that Miss Chardy is one funny chick to share a room with, let me tell you!
The night before the conference started I was lucky enough to attend a beautiful VIP dinner in a swanky penthouse.
Whenever I’m invited to a blogging event such as this, I generally spend the whole time waiting for someone to tap me on the shoulder and whisper, “Excuse me, this is a bit awkward but we’ve invited to the wrong Kirsten. If you could quietly slip away without making a fuss, that would be great.”
Then I make it to the end of the night and think to myself, “I don’t know how on earth I got on that invite list but I am so grateful to be a part of this blogging community.”
Not because of the VIP dinners, although they are a lot of fun to be a part of, but because of the community.
Connecting with other bloggers and you, the beautiful readers of Kirsten and co. is without a doubt the best part of this blogging caper.
Sharing things with you about life, style and the brands I work with truly makes my blogging world go ’round!
Exciting things in store for you:
- The first planning of the very first Kirsten and co reader event is in full swing – if you’d like to get on the list for more info, you can do so here.
- I’ve given the blog a makeover. It’s not finished yet – there’s still a landing page and a Start Here page to come. But what do you think of her fresh new look so far?
- There’s a blog series on its way that I hope will help you and a new tagline is here:
– keeping life & style real –
Keeping Things Real
Listening to the awesome speakers at Problogger taught me if there’s one thing I do well, it’s keeping things real.
So welcome to Kirsten and co 2.0 – the place where you’ll find real life and style. Helpful tips and inspiration, with a side serve of wit and honesty.
Thanks so much for being here. Let’s get this real life and style party started!
