So this morning Scott made a passing comment that he didn’t really rate what the Easter Bunny had left him, which FYI, was a packet of Kinder Surprise Easter Eggs.
Now to be fair to the Easter Bunny, she’d one hell of a week before Easter, what with the kids being on school holidays and not being able to get to the shops without the kids in tow, blah blah blah, so when said husband mentioned on Easter Eve that he was looking forward to getting his usual packet of Cadbury Creme Eggs in the morning, the Easter Bunny may or may not have panicked.
For she knew that there were in fact, zero Cadbury Creme Eggs on their way. Partly because her husband is nearly 40 and probably a bit too old for Easter Eggs but mainly because she just couldn’t be bothered buying them. So, being the problem solver that she is, the Easter Bunny rattled through what eggs she could find, rearranged what the kids would be receiving and viola!
Kinder Surprise eggs were on their way to the husband’s bed side table.
Anyho, fast forward to today, almost one week later, and those Kinder Surprise Eggs had not been opened. And so the comment was made that the husband was not a fan of that particular chocolate, which was followed up with “do you think you could buy me some sort of chocolate treat when you’re out at the shops today?” Well as luck would have it, I most certainly could…..
I’ll take your crappy Kinder Surprise Chocolates and raise you the entire half price easter egg aisle at Coles!
How about you? Does your 30 something husband still like to receive Easter Eggs? Or is it just mine?
