A while ago we went to a Max Brenner (a chocolate/dessert restaurant chain here in Australia) and the kids inhaled a chocolate pizza. It looked delicious and I didn’t think it would be too hard to make at home, so on Friday night, Sophie and I gave it a go!
It turned out surprisingly well and I’m happy to report that after successfully taste testing several slices, I gave the chocolate pizza two thumbs up.
And because sharing is caring, here’s my step-by-step guide to how to make your own chocolate pizza at home. YOU’RE WELCOME!
Step One: The Ingredients
You will need a pizza base, Nutella, marshmallows, cornflakes, chocolate chips and sprinkles.
Step Two: Prep the Pizza
Preheat your oven to 200deg C.
Spread a couple of tablespoons of Nutella on the pizza base with a spoon. Lick the spoon clean once spreading is done.
Step Three: Add your toppings
We went for chocolate chips (white and milk), mini marshmallows (find them in the baking aisle) and cornflakes (for a bit of crunch)
Step Four: Bake It!
Bake the pizza in the oven for approximately 10 minutes, or until the marshmallows begin to melt.
Remove from the oven and top with sprinkles.
Cut the chocolate pizza into slices and inhale!
Have you ever made Chocolate Pizza? And did you inhale several slices? Or are you sensible and limit your sugar intake?!
