Ok, so how are we all travelling with our mission to get looser pants by Christmas?
In case you’re new here or have forgotten the details of the past four weeks, our new habits so far are:
Week One: Let’s Get Moving! = exercising for at least 30 minutes, 3 times a week!
Week Two: Stay Hydrated = drinking water like it’s gin good for us!
Week Three: Eat More Greens = jamming more fruit and veg into our meals and snacks!
Week Four: Try A New Recipe = get in the kitchen and give a new recipe a go!
So this week I think we should probably step up our exercise a bit. You might like to to add an extra day of 30 minutes worth of moving those legs this week or maybe you’d prefer to stick to your 3 days a week of exercise, but make each session a little bit longer. It’s up to you, but let’s step it up a notch and get moving for a little bit longer this week. Deal? Great!
In other news, I took it upon myself to nominate our Operation Loose Pants program in the Bupa Blog Awards. I had to fill out a questionnaire to complete the nomination where I was asked questions like “What would stop you from blogging?” (having to have my hands amputated) and “Why should you win the Bupa Blog Awards?” (because how awesome would it be for a non kale loving, 41 year old mother of two to actually win something?!)
It’s not a voting competition (at least I don’t think it is) and I’m sure competition will be fierce, but hey, you never know! This non kale smoothie drinking, slightly overweight mummy blogger might go alright as a Health Influencer. Then again she might fail miserably. Either way, you’ll be the first to know!
