Yesterday I got right out of my comfort zone and had so much fun doing it!
Yes, that’s me, doing a photo shoot for Lillianna Plus – a new curve/plus size fashion label that’s launching next week.
It was such a fun day, the clothes are GORGEOUS and would you look at me standing there outside, amongst nature and actually enjoying it!
I mean if that’s not getting right out of my comfort zone, I don’t know what is.
Throughout the day I also found myself standing next to a very large cactus, walking through vast quantities of knee-high grass, standing in amongst a wall of bamboo on the side of a freeway (where I also did several outfit changes in the back of a car) and assisting a lady who was looking for a koala.
I was basically Ranger Stacey*
As the shoot finished for the day and we jumped in the car, I said to the gorgeous photographer and her lovely assistant, “Thanks so much girls! You’ve given me my nature quota for the entire year today” which led to quite the funny convo about camping….and why I don’t do it.
*If you watched TV after school in the 80’s and 90’s in Queensland, you’ll get that reference. If not, a quick google search should do the trick!
Lillianna Plus
On a more serious note, Lillianna Plus launches next week and caters for sizes 14-22. I loved the pieces I wore in the shoot yesterday and will have more details on the blog next week, so stay tuned!
