I don’t know about you, but I think it’s safe to say that over the years I’ve eaten my fair share of Rocky Road. But, believe it or not, I’ve never actually made it.
But that all changed yesterday, when I whipped up this delicious batch of sweet, chocolatey goodness to give as little gifts on Valentine’s Day! It’s a really easy Rocky Road recipe, one that’s so easy, it’s too good not to share.
[yumprint-recipe id=’16’]Now I kept my Rocky Road recipe really simple and only included marshmallows and plain biscuits but you can pretty much throw anything into the mixture (lollies, biscuits, different types of chocolate, nuts etc) and it would taste amazing.
Once the Rocky Road was set, I cut it up into squares and put the pieces in cute little pink paper bags for Sophie to take to school and give to her teachers. Then I set about taking photos of the delicious slabs of marshmallow, biscuit and chocolate:
The gorgeous pink and red goodies shown in the picture were kindly sent to my from Justine from Confetti and Cake. Justine took part in my recent Letter Writing Challenge and replied to my letter by posting me a box of Valentine’s Day themed party supplies, which was such a lovely, thoughtful gesture. Thank you Justine!
Have you ever made Rocky Road?
