This post is brought to you by DFO Brisbane.
I don’t know about you, but I love a good outlet shopping centre and DFO Brisbane, conveniently located near the Brisbane Domestic and International Airports (handy for any of you who might be jetting into Brisbane this festive season) is one of the best there is!
I’ve been shopping at DFO Brisbane on a regular basis for a number of years now, so it’s safe to say my heart skipped a beat when I was asked to head to Review and Portmans for some DFO Official Blogger Christmas Shopping Action. Let’s have a look at what I came home with, shall we?
My first stop was Review and let me tell you reader, there were some fantastic bargains to be had! All of their dresses were marked down to $79, which if you know the brand Review, you’ll know that $79 is an incredible price for one of their gorgeous dresses. My bestie happens to love Review clothing and has a lot of their pieces hanging in her wardrobe, so I thought I’d pick her up something for Christmas.
The peplum top I choose with the beautiful lace on the shoulders and super cute bow around the waist caught my eye and I was just a little bit beside myself when I took a look at the price tag. It was originally $139.95 and was marked down to $59! SOLD!
Then it was off to Portmans, where I was hoping to pick up something to wear on Christmas Day. There was plenty to choose from and I had a lot of fun trying lots of different outfits on. In the end, I went for a gorgeous cobalt blue v-neck tshirt, $24.95 with 30% off, bringing it down to $17.47. I’ll wear this with a pair of skinny leg black pants or a black and white pencil skirt that are already hanging in my wardrobe and I’m sure it will be an outfit on high rotation during the 2013 festive season.
Now can we just take a moment to discuss the shoes?
I picked these stunners up for the absolute bargain price of $19.95! They’re so comfortable, the perfect height and co-ordinate perfectly with the cobalt blue tshirt. Throw in this gorgeous black and white clutch for the low price of $19.95 and I’ve got myself one fantastic outfit suitable for Christmas Day or any other social event in the busy weeks ahead.
All up, the three items I purchased from Portmans came in at a grand total of $57.37, which I thought was incredibly cheap for such a gorgeous looking outfit.
The staff at both Review and Portmans were so helpful, very friendly and happily chatted to my shopping assistant/stylist (aka Miss Sophie) while I tried on clothes and browsed the racks; something I’m sure every mother would appreciate as shopping at Christmas time with children in tow isn’t always a pleasant task.
However, I’m pleased to report that both Sophie and I had a great day out. So much so that when we got in the car, Sophie turned to me and said, “That was so much fun Mummy. Can we do it again?” Um, have we even met? I’m fairly sure we can!
If you too would like to pick up some fabulous bargains, why not head to DFO Brisbane. It’s located next to Brisbane Airport, at Skygate; 1 Airport Drive, Brisbane and is open 7 days, 10am – 6pm.
