I don’t know about you, but jackets feature heavily in my wardrobe. They’re a flattering addition to an outfit and are perfect for hiding those pesky lumps and bumps that somehow seem to magically appear no matter how many times you say no to cake!
It’s been a bit too hot to wear a jacket in Brisbane lately, but attending a blogging event in an air conditioned comfort earlier this week was the perfect opportunity to wear this jacket I purchased from City Chic in the stocktake sales back in January.
I’d had my eye on it for a while and when I saw that it was down to the bargain price of $59.95, I snapped it up!
The 3/4 sleeves are the ideal length for the warm climate I live in, while the cropped length doesn’t overwhelm my short frame.
I’ve teamed my City Chic jacket with a simple v-neck tank top and my favourite boyfriend jeans for a simple smart casual look.
Unfortunately this particular jacket featuring the gold fabric on the shoulder is no longer available, however a plain monochrome version is in stock and it’s on sale!
Are you ready to go shopping with Kirsten for your very own City Chic Jacket? Let’s go!
So Chic Jacket: $59.95 from City Chic I’m wearing a S (16) as it was the only size left on the rack. It’s a little bit too big and I would’ve preferred an XS (14) but borderline shopping addicts who can’t say no to a bargain sometimes just have to suck it up and make it work. Or so I’ve heard!
Mesh Detail Singlet: $19.95 from Myer Available in standard sizes, S, M, L (I’m wearing a L) and plus sizes, 16-24 $24.95
Boyfriend Jeans: $79.99 from Autograph* I’m wearing a size 14.

Are you a fan of the jacket? And are you too counting down the days until the cooler weather hits so you can wear yours more often?!
