A really easy recipe for Vanilla Cupcakes by 9 year old Sophie.
Hi, it’s Sophie here. On the weekend I was a bit bored so I asked my Mum (Kirsten) if I could do some baking and she said, “Yes!” So I made some vanilla cupcakes and thought you might like the recipe too. They’re so easy to make that I made them all on my own (that’s me in the photos, measuring the butter and putting the batter into the cupcake liners, which was a bit messy but lots of fun.)

And here is the recipe! I used the Junior Masterchef Cookbook for the recipe, so it’s not actually my own recipe that I made up or anything. I got the cookbook from my cousins for my birthday last year and I really like it. I’ve made lots of things from it, but this is the first thing I’ve ever made all on my own, without mum helping me.
