Back in the day, long before writing stories on the internet existed, the only thing I used to throw back on a Thursday was a vodka.
Specifically a vodka, lemonade (Sprite for the international readers amongst us) and red cordial or a Fire Engine as it’s more commonly known. They were $1 each at Mary St Nightclub and every Thursday night my uni mates and I would take it upon ourselves to down several of them #goodtimes
Not a Fire Engine. You can read all about that delicious looking cocktail in this post
Fast forward 20 years and Throw Back Thursday is an actual thing. It usually doesn’t involve drinking but it does involve putting old photos of yourself on social media for everyone to laugh at look at.
There aren’t many photos of me from back then but there are plenty of blog posts from the last few years that are well worth a re-visit!
So welcome to Kirsten and co’s Throw Back Thursday. Where each week we take a look back at an old blog post and reminisce about the good old days.
Throw Back Thursday
I’m kicking things off with a post I wrote in January. It was pouring down in Brisbane so naturally I took to the internet and belted out a rainy day survival guide.
There’s a preview of the post below but you’ll need to click here to read the whole post.
{Spoiler alert: wine, cookie dough and ignoring Dora may or may not be involved}
