Last week I had the pleasure of attending a Style Workshop at Westfield Carindale with the beautiful Kellie Alderman and her lovely co-host Claire, Editor of Style Magazines.
The set up was stunning. Gorgeous white tables and chairs with lovely gift bags at every seat. I took my bestie, Lis, with me, which just quietly, Pam was a bit pinged off about. Don’t worry. I’ll take the old chook with me next time I get invited to a fancy pants event.
We were treated to a delicious champagne breakfast from Gallery One. I had the smoked salmon omelette. I wanted to snap a photo of it, but no one else had their cameras out to photograph their food so thought better of it. I know. It was a bit weird. Fancy being served a meal and just eating it without taking several photos of it first!
Here’s Kellie and Claire in action. I had major shoe envy. And how stunning is the model? Not to mention slim. Almost made me want to stop eating my omelette and sip on a glass of water instead of the champers. Almost.
Loved this spotty top from Country Road. And don’t get me started on the hot pink clutch. Both need to find their way into my wardrobe asap.
And then, because we were so inspired by what we’d seen at the Styling Workshop, Lis and I hot footed it into several shops for some retail therapy. Even though I’m currently on a self imposed budget (such a hideous word) I somehow managed to come home with a new metallic silver jacket and two t-shirts from Witchery. All on sale, so even though I spent money, technically I saved it!
Have you bought anything new lately?
